Notes:- Fineness: ≤ 10 μm.- Luminosity:

Use the Xenon Test chamber Xe-1 machine according to ASTM D3424. Luminosity is measured and determined according to the Blue Wool Scale• Luminosity grade: level 1 (least durable) or level 8 (most durable)• When adding 50% Clear White or Opaque White to the ink, the luminosity is reduced by 01 level• When adding 90% Clear White or Opaque White to the ink, the luminosity is reduced by 02 levels

If you have requirements for high luminosity or other special technical requirements, please contact us and choose our special inks

6. Instructions for use:

6.1 Pre-treatmentPolyolefines (PE/PP) plastic films need to be surface treated before printing to ensure ink adhesion on the film. PE film: 42 dynes/ cm, PP: 52 dynes/ cm

6.2 Curing conditions: The curing speed of the ink depends on the printing speed, UV irradiation time, UV intensity, and the thickness, color, clarity of the ink layer. UltraKolor ink curing conditions:

  • UV wavelength: 314 – 400 nm.
  • UV lamp power: 120 – 160 W/cm. The total UV energy per drying area over a given period of time is best 250 – 300 Millijoule/cm2. During the use of UV lamps, the power will decrease over time, so the power must be checked regularly to ensure the quality of the ink film
  • After 12 hours of UV irradiation, the ink film is completely cured, having the desired properties.

6.3 Thinner: When it is necessary to dilute the ink, use a UV thinner with a content of about 1-2%

7. Safety and Storage Information:
– Absolutely avoid light, UV rays shining directly on the product.- Store in a cool, dry place (temperature 15-25°C), avoid contact with chemicals, keep away from heat and electricity sources.
– Avoid contact with skin and eyes
– Shelf life: 12 months from the date of manufacture. When stored at high temperatures, the shelf life will be reducedThe above specifications are given based on the results of actual testing and production at the Khang Viet factory. However, the characteristics of the product may be affected by the use environment as well as the quality of the printing materials. In fact, the product is used under conditions beyond the control of the manufacturer, so we cannot guarantee the optimal quality of the moist product. Therefore, in order to minimize the risk to customers, we suggest that the product should be subjected to a small test for compatibility and quality before being put into mass production. All parameters in this table are for reference only and may be changed to meet the conditions and achieve the best performance when operating the equipment.

NOTE

Fineness: ≤ 10 µm.
Viscosity: Measured using a JIS No. 3 Zahn cup (Rigosha – Japan).
Water resistance: Immerse the printed sample in water for 24 hours at room temperature.
Acid resistance: Immerse the printed sample in a 3% HCl or 7% Acetic acid solution for 30 minutes at room temperature.
Alkali resistance: Immerse the printed sample in a 2% NaOH solution for 30 minutes at room temperature.
