1. Ink Name: Q- Chromax OPPx
2. Type of ink:
– Solvent-based gravure printing inks, composite inks.
– Printing on the inside of BOPP, OPP, Matte BOPP films with corona treatment (≥ 38 dyne/cm).
3. Technical characteristics:
– Applied in polypropylene (PP) extrusion jointing for high adhesion.
– Excellent ink transfer, coating properties and high color stability.
– Good electrostatic resistance.
– Good chemical resistance.
– Does not contain toxic chemicals, heavy metals according to ASTM F963-96a 4.3.5 & 8.3 and
EN 71-3:2019 and RoHS standard.

Notes:
– Fineness: ≤ 10μm.
– Viscosity: Measured by Zahn cup No. 3 JIS (Rigosha-Japan)
– Water Resistance: Soak the printed sample in water for 24 hours at room temperature
– Acid Strength: Soak the printed sample in a solution of 3% HCl acid or 7% acetic acid for 30 minutes at room temperature
– Stand: Soak the printed sample in a 2% NaOH solution for 30 minutes at room temperature

– Luminous Fastness:
Using Xenon Testchamber Xe-1 according to ASTMD3424 standards. Light fastness is measured and determined according to the Blue Wool Scale
- Luminosity Grade: Level 1 (least durable) à Level 8 (most durable)
- When adding 50% Medium or White ink to the ink, the brightness is reduced by 01 level
- When adding 90% Medium or White ink to the ink, the light fastness is reduced by 02 levels

Note : Mixed solvents need to be mixed with ingredients before diluting the ink
7. Instructions for use:
– Stir thoroughly before use
– The smoothness of old ink should be checked before use because long-term storage can cause ink agglomerate. Use only 10–30% of used ink and must be carefully sifted with a 100μm strainer or a 120mesh metal sieve
– Using an ink supply system with a filter sieve system, the circulating pump can prevent the ink from filming, impurities and keep the color tone stable
– For printing samples with a small printing station area, low ink consumption, moisture easily penetrates the ink due to prolonged exposure to air, leading to thickening and suspension of ink. To avoid this situation, it is recommended to use a solvent that slows down evaporation and control the ambient humidity at 55 ÷ 65%
– Using Medium:
When printing, medium ink is often added to reduce the color force depending on the depth of the print shaft. Usually Medium is added about 10-15% of raw squid. In the case of printing special colors, the medium content used at a higher rate we recommend you as follows:
- Medium amount ≤10-15%: use Medium without additives.
- Medium Phase >15%: use Medium with additive phase.
To ensure good back adhesion resistance, it is necessary to control the evaporation rate well with a blended solvent formulation
suitable dilution, the medium ratio used in the ink is at a certain limit.
8. Safety and Storage Information:
– The ink contains flammable liquids. Therefore, it is necessary to keep the printing area always ventilated or install an exhaust exhaust system to ensure safety. Especially avoid contact with fire sources or sources of sparks.
– Store and use the product at 15-25°C.
– Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
– Shelf life: 06 months from the date of manufacture
The above specifications are given based on the results of experiments and actual production at Khang Viet factory. However, the characteristics of the product may be affected by the use environment as well as the quality of the printing materials. In fact, the product is used under conditions beyond the control of the manufacturer, so we cannot guarantee the optimal quality of the product. Therefore, in order to minimize the risk to customers, we suggest that the product should be subjected to a small test for compatibility and quality before being put into mass production.
